Pizza Love
The Story Behind
Every Slice
It all started with two brothers, Brandon and Zane Hunt, who grew up eating rectangular pizza in Detroit. When they moved to Austin, they brought their Detroit roots with them — and a burning desire to share the pizza they loved most.
What began as a humble trailer on East 6th Street quickly became one of Austin's most beloved institutions. The secret? Simple, honest ingredients, a focaccia-like crust that's pillowy inside and crisp on the edges, and sauce ladled on top — the Detroit way.
We honor the original Detroit-style recipe — thick, crispy-edged, baked in blue steel pans, topped with sauce after the cheese.
We partner with Texas farms and local suppliers to bring fresh, high-quality ingredients to every pizza we make.
From fundraisers to festivals, Via 313 is woven into the fabric of Austin. We give back because this city gave us everything.

Our Core Values
These aren't words on a wall. They're the reason we show up every single day.
Uncompromising Quality
We use only the finest ingredients — whole milk mozzarella, hand-crushed tomatoes, locally sourced produce — because a great pizza starts with great ingredients.
Community Roots
We belong to Austin. We hire locally, source locally, and give back locally. Our success is shared with every neighbor, school, and organization in our city.
Authentic Craft
We never mass-produce or cut corners. Each pizza is made by hand, proofed for 24 hours, and baked in the same steel pans that make Detroit pizza unmistakable.
Sustainable Practices
We're actively reducing our environmental footprint — from compostable packaging to reducing food waste programs that donate surplus to local shelters.
Genuine Hospitality
Every person who walks through our door — or orders online — deserves to feel welcomed, appreciated, and delighted. That's not policy; it's just who we are.
Always Evolving
We respect our roots while staying curious. New seasonal specials, new flavors, new partnerships — we never stop looking for ways to surprise and delight.
